<!–a4c83a51604e47ab94aa039d2a7fbf1e–>

Indonesia is one country that has vast forests in the world. The forest area had reached 113 million hectares and continues to decrease drastically due to ignorance and criminal elements in government who are always hungry for money by cutting down and defoliate forests in order to make large profits without looking at the impact on the global environment.
Here below is the distribution of all sorts / types of forests in the Republic of Indonesia with the meaning of the definition and understanding:

1. Mangrove Forest
Mangrove forests are forests that grow in coastal areas. Example: the east coast of Kalimantan, the southern coast cilacap, etc.. These forests grow especially in places where there is mud and organic matter accumulation. Both in bays protected from the assault of the waves, and surrounding estuaries where the water slows down and precipitate sludge brought from upstream.

Mangrove seems natural. This forest grows on top of brackish water marshes, located on the shoreline and is influenced by tidal sea water.

2. Sabana forest
Ie sabana forest steppe with a number of trees with a thin low-rainfall. Example: Nusa southeast. Based on the type of vine arranged, the sabana is divided into two, namely pure and mixed sabana.

This forest overgrown by shrubs and grassland interspersed

3. Swamp Forest

Hoga Island is one island in the Wakatobi archipelago region, Southeast Sulawesi province, Indonesia, which is also a tour of the island’s most beautiful underwater world. The island is located east Kaledupa Island.

HEAR its name, people think three things that have anything to do with Japan. In fact, it’s about the beauty of Indonesia in Southeast. Three names were considered a potential tourist objects that are sold to foreign tourists and the island of Hoga in the Wakatobi Onemobaa and Sagori Island in Bombana.

all remember the movie The Beach? Diperani the good-looking movie that Leonardo Caprio’s The story of paradise hidden in a remote island in the Philippines. Imagine that it turns out there is also in Indonesia. Precisely on the island of Hoga, Wakatobi in Southeast Sulawesi Province.

Hoga Island Mainland that greenish look beautiful white sand surrounded by the sparkling tetimpa sunlight. Direct fresh sea breeze fills your lungs. Sea water in front of the eyes and clear blue runs.

Landed at Hoga, looking wooden buildings in a simple but sturdy. A number of Caucasians in the dining room milling capacity of 60-80 people who filled the schedule and instructions in English. Tumultuous atmosphere with jokes in English. In fact, it was in the Wakatobi archipelago, at the southeastern tip of Sulawesi island which can be reached from Jakarta for two days.

Indeed, the stranger was not just a tourist. They were average students and research professor Operation Wallacea programs (Opwall), research and conservation expeditions institutions based in the UK.

Priceless beauty of this place is a remote location, said John Coop, Director of Expeditionary Logistics Opwall on Hoga Island.

According to John, they come at a university in the European holiday season: March and June to September. Each season, the number of students and volunteers to reach 400 people while a professor of 80-10 people.

Wakatobi indeed save a lot of beauty. Tailor archipelago once known as Iron, consists of four main island groups that became the name of Wakatobi: Wangi-Wangi, Kaledupa, Tomia, and Binongko.

Regions with an area of 1.39 million hectares, which consists of small islands and large, the ranks of coral atolls and lagoons are well-known density of reef habitat and a diverse ikanya. Whales and dolphins are also often can be found around the Wangi-Wangi.

Turtle lover can examine Runduma Island, north Island Kaledupa. On the island are difficult to be taken because the shipping lines prone to waves, turtle-green turtle (Chelonia mydas) is always laying down.

One again the spotlight is the number of foreign researchers Bajo village. Community groups who are often called sea gypsies are really living on the sea by building settlements on the lagoon reef. They are spread on the island of Wangi-Wangi, Kaledupa, and Tomia.

However, researchers did not come cheap cost Opwall program. For two weeks, they have to pay for living costs 1750 U.S. dollars or approximately USD 17.5 million. Cost does not include fare home, visas, certificates, and diving equipment.

So Opwall operating since 1995 to prepare the facility unmitigated. Hoga Island, Opwall rent a house owned by local government Wakatobi stage and functioned as an office, classrooms, study areas, a mini library, computer rooms, wet labs, restaurants, bars, and first aid clinic. Opwall also working with operators and agencies PADI diving courses.

In the township in Sampela Bajo, Opwall build a research facility to stay in the township. A house with similar functions are also hired in the village of Ambeua, Kaledupa Island.

Number of foreign researchers to make the communities in Wakatobi, also in Sampela Bajo, local visitors thought that any fair-complexioned as strangers.

Residents are also very accustomed to being interviewed. Even some admitted bored, tired. The foreign researchers sometimes do not come in groups but individually. Then we were asked to gather. Each person will be long and many questions. Often we are so do not go to sea, lamented La Diy (42) villagers Sembano.

Tail so as to know the object of research, they became critical and questioning the direct impact of research for society.

In fact, most foreign researchers researching in Wakatobi for a certain period of time for their academic dissertations. On this side of society is merely an object of research. But on the other hand, the existence of alternative Opwall has opened new revenue and jobs for the community, especially at Hoga and Kaledupa.

In Hoga, there are currently 200 community-owned homestay which supplies most of Opwall guest. Transactions chartering vessels for diving, order flow vegetables, into additional income in the high season of research. Opwall also involve 81 percent local staff as operational employees. Another indirect impact is fluent in English.

Wakatobi Islands since July 31, 1996 through the Ministry of Forestry Decree No 393/KTps-VI/1996 designated as Marine National Park area by the name of the Wakatobi Marine National Park. By stipulating that, in 1997 Wakatobi is divided into five zones: core zone (683 500 ha), Protected Zone (160 500 ha), Use Zone (70 000 ha), Traditional Use Zone (300 500 ha), and Rehabilitation Zone (175 000 ha).

This classification is important because marine park Wakatobi (1.39 million ha) is the second largest marine park in Indonesia, after the Paradise Bay Marine National Park in Papua. Level of diversity of coral and fish species in the Wakatobi also includes high density, the same as in the Bunaken Marine National Park, Paradise Bay, and Komodo.

Based on the study of ecology The Nature Conservation (TNC) Indonesia Marine Program and WWF Indonesia Marine Program in 2003, in the Wakatobi there are 396 species of hard coral reefs and compiler 590 species of fish. This is because there Kaledupa Reef Lagoon, the largest and longest lagoon in Indonesia.

In the lagoons of coral reef communities that are not common and the diversity of fish species are at the highest. The beauty can be enjoyed in the 27 point dive sites where coral reefs are generally in good health.

No wonder when Wakatobi is known as one of the dreams of diving locations. However, local divers are usually so insecure so told foreign divers.

That’s it. Foreign divers seem to better understand the world that Indonesia has a very beautiful underwater.

For the people of Batavia, Pitung are heroes. He lived in the 19th century, residents Rawabelong, with his father, peony scroll, the origin of Cirebon and his mother, Pinah, of Batavia.

The Pitung become famous not only for his courage against Holland, but also concern for the fate of the people are oppressed by the Dutch power and landlords.

“At that time, the social life of society is not humane. The landlords do not hesitate to ask for higher taxes to farmers. If the farmers can not immediately pay the taxes in accordance with the fall due, then the landlord’s goons will force the farmers with rough ways. Now in such situations Therefore, they Pitung Si, “said Alwi Shahab, Pitung novelist, Robin Hood Batavia.

Finally the Dutch lower Schout Hinne van, the police chief to arrest Si Pitung, “he continued.

AS a fugitive, Pitung not have a place to stay for sure. That said, he had lived in the city of Depok, precisely in one of the buildings owned by a Dutch nobleman, Cornelis Chastelein. Depok residents more often call the building as the old house Pondok China, because it is situated in the Village of Cottage China, Beji District.

Unfortunately, the old building located at Jalan Raya Margonda gone. Building a witness to history Depok City has been besieged by a strip mall named supermegah Margonda City. Indeed, development projects Margonda City not to displace the building. Even so, the function of the building has been transformed into a cafe.

Other Stories, Pitung also lived in Kampung Marunda, both at Masjid Al Alam or at home joglo Marundo Pulo village.

Many versions of the relationship with the mosque of Al Alam Pitung. Some say that the Masjid Al Alam is the place to play Pitung, religious study, learn a blow to hide from opas and VOC. But there are also said if Pitung just drop by at Masjid Al Alam to establish prayer. Two of these opinions become stronger because there is no physical evidence that could explain the existence Pitung Mosque, unless the understanding of the community around that Pitung it ever was in the mosque.

Flow of river water that can regulate the amount of sunlight reaching the algae, and during the rainy season, the flow of sunlight away from the riverbed. In the dry season, the water was too shallow so will not issue these colors. But when the time between the two seasons is a good time for Cano Cristales to show off their colors.

During these times, the river bed covered by a variety of colors, ranging from blue and green to red, with many gradations of color. Unfortunately this beauty lasts only a few days, between the rainy and dry seasons. But that’s what makes this river becomes more special.

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, this river lies a secluded area, near the town of La Macarena. Rivers with a width of 20 meters and 100 meters long this can only be achieved by using horses or mules, and few travel agents that offer trips there.

Landscape exotica this region have no doubt, there are many objects that you can enjoy the Landscape. Like the color of one lake Telaga the most visited by tourists, here we can see three kinds of lake blue, green and brown. Although there are many other lakes such as lake Merdada, Sumurup and Pengilon. In addition to Lake and scenic tourist attraction, we can enjoy the object of historical architecture. Here there are ancient Hindu temple ruins site that supposedly was built the same era with the construction of Borobudur temple, around the 8th century AD It was the center spread of the first Hindu in Central Java. The hindu community archaeologist believes high land of Dieng is the inception of the Dinasty Syailendra its time to build monumental temples in history. In addition we also found the ruins of the temple ruins of the rest – the rest of the royal past. What is unique, Dieng temples around the characters is named wayang Five Pandavas. There are four groups of temples namely groups and Parikshit Dwarawati Temple, Temple Which are east Dwarawati groups, groups Setyaki Temple, Ontorejo, Petruk, Nala Gareng, and Nakula-Sadewa, as well as groups of temple Arjuna, Semar, Sembodro, Puntadewa, and Srikandi.
High land of Dieng craters are still active, because they still produce hot sulfur and some are poisonous. If you are interested to visit there are several craters in this area should ask the people around, the crater where it is reasonably safe to visit. One of the most famous crater Candradimuka crater, named for the story of Billy Glass is melted in crater. Way to go this place is very uphill and winding road that is very sharp.

Dieng Plateau has only a single point of entry, that is from Wonosobo, if you want to come here to pass this area first. Whereas if you’re from the direction from the direction of Yogyakarta Magelang and should continue to Wonosobo. And be prepared to enjoy the natural charm and exotic Dieng.

Tips And Tricks:

1. should you reach this number before sunrise, because the unique weather. Besides enjoying the sun rise from the plateau behind the mountains, the weather here is very fast, probably because of rapid climate change and mountain fog often goes down suddenly.

2. weather conditions are very good here from 6 o’clock until 9 am, so prepare yourselves to go keobjek anywhere within 3 hours.

3. panorama of the exotic, so you will need a wide angle lens (wide) such as 12-24mm, 18-70mm etc.. Because here there are many spectacular views.

4. not many objects of human interest here, but just in case. It is better you prepare the 80-200mm telephoto lens 24-120mm or semi.
Mount Roraima is an extraordinary beautiful place in the Venezuelan state. Mount this stone shaped like a flat unique because as the table top in the clouds. Height of 400 meters. The only way to reach the peak of the roof is to climb the table ladder track that is already provided by the government of Venezuela. Another way that is not usually recommended is done by rock climbers. There, the rain fell almost every day, sweep over plants vines which are located on the roof. As a result, the roof was a unique mountain, because the net from any flat surface.Mount Roraima rose to fame in 1912 when Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s fiction-writing a novel entitled The Lost World. he enter into a climb to the mountain of Roraima, to conduct exploratory research in search of dinosaurs and prehistoric plant species are believed to live in an isolated and unchanged for millions of years on the mountaintop.

Natural tourist attraction this one was no other object famous Mount Bromo in East Java. However, the privileges are very unique and clearly different from other tourist objects in there.

Away from the noise, the atmosphere is natural, beautiful and not a single building standing on the island is like lodging, restaurants and so forth. Sempu Island, is a small island located south of Java Island. The island is located in Malang regency, East Java. Currently Sempu a nature reserve protected by the government. On the island there are more than 80 bird species are protected and there are also other animals such as wild boar, mouse deer, langur also java and if lucky enough to see the traces of leopard.

Apart from swimming the visitors also can relax by playing beach volleyball. For those who love the natural atmosphere of the original and far from the city noise, Sempu Island is the right place to visit.

The uniqueness of this tour the island was low tide when we could cross to the island of Java Pualu Sempu. Visitors are generally crossed out and come home in the morning and afternoon, because crossing can only be done at the moment and not even be longer than 16:00 o’clock in the afternoon. In this island there is a lake called ly. Where is the water contained in the lake water is derived from the sound of waves hitting the reef. Some water was flowing into the reef ly through a large hole in the middle.

If visitors want to stay here you can stay at inns owned by communities along the road toward the beach Sendangbiru. Or it could also open Sempu tents on the island, but visitors should seek permission first at checkpoint in Sendangbiru which lies just across the Island Sempu. This is done for the sake of preserving the habitat and the environment as a tourist attraction of this Nature Reserve.

But What They Leave very artsy. The proof With Some Carved Human Statue The difficulty level is very high. Created in the early century – 18th by sculptor William Ricketts who was appointed to the Aborigines because of their proximity to their lives. Made of wood trees that are in the Australian rainforest, a masterpiece is created.

Preview of Life is a work based Aboriginal enshrined By William Ricketts In her Sculptures. A native Australian descendants have become part of Aboriginal. These mesmerizing sculptures are the work of William Ricketts, a rare Australian born in 1898 who was in awe of the connection the Aborigine people have with the land.

The clay figures, which Ricketts created on site in his home on Mount Dandenong, near Olinda, express his devout philosophy that all people need to act as custodians of the natural environment just as the Aboriginal people do.

Ricketts gained his deep understanding of Aboriginal culture during frequent trips to Central Australia, where he lived with the Pitjantjatjara and Arrernte people from 1949 -1960. They soon adopted him as one of their own and willingly posed for the sculptures that would become their legacy.

William Ricketts died in 1993 at the ripe old age of 94 but he will always be remembered as his figure, too, is dotted around the tranquil fern gully, forever connected to both the family and the land he so loved.

I do not need to explain in detail about what it is Alexa and its usefulness, because all my friends can get an explanation through thousands of posts that discuss this.

You need to remember, to streamline the alexa rank in the long term, I recommend, you must focus on creating quality content that will attract many visitors. So, not just focus on streamlining alexa rank them instantly.

Below are ways to streamline Alexa Rank:

1. Put Widget Alexa,

allegedly said could increase alexa rank, but this impact on your PageRank, because it indirectly gives a backlink to alexa. For Build Widget use This Link

2. Reviewing around about alexa.

More review for each blog entry will get better. Of course it would affect Alexa rankings. This according to some experts … Anybody want to try?

3. install the Alexa toolbar in Browser

For those not install please directly here

hopefully there are benefits. Even if there are other tips, please be divided in the comment box below.

Related Post:

Owned

Take your mobile gaming experience to the next level with the latest in high-performance hardware. With blindingly fast graphics cards, stunning high resolution displays and cutting edge processors, these gaming laptops will keep you in the game at home and on the go. see the best gaming laptops in 2010

1. Alienware M17x

Alienware M17x

Given the extreme performance and category dominance we discovered with Alienware desktop computers, we shouldn’t be very surprised that the Alienware M17x garners such high ratings among gaming laptops. The brand continues its dominance of the gaming category without missing a beat and even the extreme graphics motif that makes it stand out among desktops is carried over to the laptop units.

If there are any two points that we find just a little disconcerting about this laptop, the first has to be its very designation into this category. This unit is both large and heavy. Be really careful when shopping for a bag to carry it around. The typical laptop bag designated for 17-inch computers just won’t do it. If you can find one that claims to accommodate two 17-inch computers, you’ll be in good shape. As for weight, at about thirteen pounds, depending on how it’s configured, it’s not going to be a suitable replacement for a netbook…nor is it intended to be. The other bone of contention is its price. Of course, shoppers considering Alienware are looking for performance rather than a bargain price so that’s no big surprise.

Alienware computers are famous for their radical appearance and this one is no exception. The anodized aluminum case is available in silver, black or red but that’s just the beginning. The screen features edge-to-edge glass on the display that announces immediately that you’re not dealing with any run of the mill machine. Alienware has a system call Fusion FX which allows you to set the colors behind the backlit keys. In fact, as many as four different colors can be selected simultaneously so that different regions of the keyboard display different colors. Certainly not necessary but definitely cool looking. The lighting options extend down the front of the keyboard in a grill-like arrangement that is either reminiscent of a stealth fighter or a 1950s concept car.

When talking about extreme gaming computers, it’s always the graphics card setup the gets most of the attention. That’s certainly the case with the M17x which comes standard with an awesome NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M card featuring a substantial 1GB of video memory. If that’s not enough for your extreme gaming requirements, the computer can be ordered with a pair of the NVIDIA cards which will support outrageous gaming requirements or amazing multitasking.

Alienware’s M17x can be built with either Inter Core 2 processors or the newer i5 and i7 CPUs. For Core 2’s, the included processor is a substantial Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 running at 2.4GHz, 3MB Cache and 1066MhzFSB but there are lots of upgrade options. There are two faster Core 2 Duo processors available with the T9600 running at 2.8GHz clock speed and 6MB Cache or the T9800 that kicks the speed up to 2.93GHz with the same Cache. A couple of different Intel Core 2 Quad processors are also options. The first is the Q9800 with the four cores running at 2.0GHz or, for ultimate performance, the Intel Core 2 Quad QX9300 with four 2.53GHZ cores, 12MB Cache and 1066 MHz FSB.

The alternative base processor is the Intel Core i5 520M running at 2.4GHz and 3MB Cache. There’s also the option of an i5 540M running at 2.53GHz. There are four Intel Core i7 options with the basic processor running at 2.66GHz and sporting 4MB Cache. The top of the line is the Intel Core i7 920XM which clocks at 2.0GHZ or up to 3.2GHz in Turbo Mode and has a 8MB Cache.

When you have a need for speed, the next essential piece of the puzzle is RAM memory. The basic unit comes equipped with 4GB of dual channel DDR3 1066MHz RAM. It’s upgradable to 6GB or 8GB with the snappiest option being 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 running at 1333MHz. While the base 4GB is pretty substantial for a typical laptop, for this gaming monster, we can’t help but think a RAM upgrade is a no brainer.

There are several storage options available, too. The starting point is a pretty pedestrian 250GB drive running at 7,200RPM. The 7,200RPM drives can be upgraded to 320 or 500GB or you can choose to sacrifice speed for size by opting for a 640GB drive that spins at 5,400RPM. To really get fast, both 128GB and 256GB solid state drives are also available. They’ll give far faster data access speed than any mechanical hard drive can but have notably smaller storage space available.

Available optical drives include a DVD/CD burner, a drive that will also play Blu-ray discs and a final upgrade to one that includes a Blu-ray burner. The included optical display, i.e. the screen, is a 17-inch WideXGA+ which displays 1440 x 900 pixels (900p). That can be enhanced by adding a 17-inch WideUXGA screen displaying 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution (1200p).

The M17x comes with a one year basic service plan which can be increased to three or four years. There’s also an advanced in home service plan available but it requires remote diagnosis before a technician would be dispatche.

2. Dell Studio XPS 16

Dell Studio XPS 16

The Dell Studio XPS 16 isn’t as specifically geared towards gaming as other laptop computers featured on this site. Nonetheless, it offers enough high end computing features that all but the most extreme gamers will find it to be a good choice. As with other computers, comparing one to another can be a challenge because of the vast number of options that are available from most manufacturers. We found that this unit offers a terrific selection of options at a reasonable cost and is a good choice for many users.

Though the Studio XPS 16 isn’t specifically dubbed a gaming laptop, it possess just about all of the features that mobile gamers require…most notably speed and power. A feature that it doesn’t have in common with lots of other gaming laptops is weight. Depending on configuration, this unit weighs in at just about six-and-a-half pounds which isn’t much more than half of some of our other top rated gamers. That in itself can be a pretty powerful selling point when it comes to selecting a computer that’s going to be lugged around in a backpack.

As with any computer, the processor is the heart of the XPS 16. It comes equipped with one of Intel’s leading edge chips, the Intel Core i7 720QM Quad Core processor with each core running at a snappy 1.6GHz and 6MB Cache. In turbo mode, that speed can be pushed up to 2.8GHz. While that’s likely to be more than adequate for most users, there is an option to replace the processor with an even faster Intel Core i7 820QM Quad Core with a 1.73GHz clock speed that can be pushed to 3.06GHz in turbo mode. It has an 8MB Cache. The video processor is integrated into the motherboard which is likely the single feature that limits this machine in terms of extreme gaming.

The speed of this computer is enhanced by the more generous than normal inclusion of 6GB of dual channel DDR3 RAM running at 1333MHz. That is currently billed as a limited time feature and it could be reverted to the more standard 4GB. For even more power, the unit can be equipped with 8GB of RAM which otherwise shares the same specifications.

The standard storage device for this computer is a 320GB, 7,200RPM hard drive. It can be increased to a 500GB drive. For the fastest data access speeds, solid state drives can be substituted. They’re available in 128GB and 256GB sizes. Though smaller, data access time approaches zero for all practical purposes.

The computer comes standard with an 8x CD/DVD burner can handle dual layer recording and supports all DVD+/-R formats. A similar burner which also has the ability to play Blu-ray discs is also available as an option. Wi-Fi wireless connectivity is built in as is Bluetooth capability. Not surprisingly, Bluetooth accessories are optional. The included operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium though it can be upgrade to Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate.

The XPS 16 comes with Dell’s basic two year service plan. It can be upgraded to three years. There’s also an available Advanced In-Home service plan. It requires remote diagnosis by Dell technicians before a technician would be dispatched for service.

3. MacBook Pro 15-inch

The new Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors boost performance up to 50 percent over the previous generation. Based on Intel’s latest 32-nanometer process technology, these are the fastest dual-core processors available and they set an all-new benchmark for Mac notebooks.1

Turbo Boost.

Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors also feature Turbo Boost. If you’re using processor-intensive applications like Aperture 3 or Final Cut Pro that would benefit from an extra performance kick, Turbo Boost dynamically increases the speed of one or both cores, taking a 2.66GHz MacBook Pro all the way up to 3.33GHz.

Hyper-Threading.

Built-in Hyper-Threading allows two threads to run simultaneously on each core, so Mac OS X recognizes four virtual cores instead of just two. When you’re running multiple applications at once, the Core i5 and Core i7 processors spread tasks more evenly across a greater number of cores — so you can get more done, faster.

Integrated memory controller.

Unlike systems that connect memory to the processor through a separate controller, the new MacBook Pro uses an integrated memory controller to connect memory directly to the processor. In a sense, this cuts out the middleman. With faster access to memory, each core gets right to work on your data, rather than waiting for it to arrive. Together with up to 4MB of shared L3 cache, the integrated memory controller ensures MacBook Pro can keep up with you.

Next-generation graphics.

Inside the 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pro models is the new NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M discrete graphics processor — the fastest graphics ever in a Mac notebook. With 48 processing cores and up to 512MB of dedicated video memory, this graphics processor delivers even more horsepower than the previous generation. And you don’t have to sacrifice efficiency for speed: The NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M is up to 30 percent more energy efficient than its predecessor. For even greater power savings, MacBook Pro also includes integrated Intel HD Graphics.

On-demand performance. Off-the-charts efficiency.

The 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pro models come standard with automatic graphics switching. It’s a breakthrough technology from Apple that switches graphics processors on the fly to give you performance when you need it (when you’re playing the latest 3D game, for example) and better battery efficiency when you don’t (such as when you’re reading email). MacBook Pro transfers the workload between the powerful discrete NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M graphics processor and integrated Intel HD Graphics so seamlessly, you won’t even notice. Whether you’re using applications like Aperture, Motion, or Final Cut Pro or just surfing the web, your MacBook Pro always knows which processor to use. You don’t have to log out, shut down, or change your preferences. Automatic graphics switching does it all for you.

One charge. Nine hours.

Since high-performance graphics kick in only when you need them,

the battery in the 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pro can last up to 8-9 hours on a single charge.

Library derived from the word “Library” which means the Book or Books. According Sulistyo Basuki in his book Introduction to Library Science says that “the boundaries of the library is a room, part of a building, or the building itself that is in use for storing books or other publications which are usually stored with a specific arrangement for the use of good readers, not to sell . ‘So, it can be concluded that the library will never be far away from books.
From the above explanation can be understood that the library is a very fundamental thing in the world of education. Because the library is always associated with books, and books will always be associated with science. In the space of a scientist can search library refrensi discoveries – discoveries that found its predecessor, from the library one can develop insight into his thinking, there is also someone can someone can do a little research and observations and then load it back in the form of useful new information for himself and others. And this is the history of one of the biggest library in the history of the World, He is the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Egypt (Library of Alexandria of Egypt).

Bibliotheca Alexandrina Egypt (Library of Alexandria of Egypt) is the first and largest library in the world. This library even survive for centuries and has a collection of 700 000 rolls of papyrus, even if the library compare with the Sorbonne in the 14th century ‘only’ has a collection of 1700 books.
This library was founded by the successors of Alexander I Ptolemi (Alexandria) in the year 323 BC, and continued until the power Ptolemi III. At that time, Egypt’s rulers were so besemangat Sciences Library and promote them, even in manuscript, Rome says that the King’s royal Egyptian treasures spend to buy books from all over the country to collect 442 800 90 000 books and other summary form not bound. He also ordered soldiers to search every ship that entered in order to obtain the manuscript. If there is a script that is found, they save and restore the original copy. According to some sources, when Athens lend the classic drama texts, the original Greek is invaluable to Ptolemy III, he promised to pay a refundable deposit and copy them. But the king instead save the original, do not take money back guarantee, and return a copy
But this golden age story just became history. To the Roman conquest ketuka is led by Julius Caesar in 48 BC. The Romans burned to ashes destroyed 400,000 books using that useless. World of science was very sorry for having lost one of the best sources of knowledge at that time. But eventually the Emperor, Julius Caesar to apologize, and instead he sent Marx Antonio to award 200 000 books from Rome to the Queen of Egypt at that time, Cleopatra, and from this is their story continues.
But the stately library in Egypt was never again like old times – the keemasanya. Since burning is, Iskadariah Library solah unkempt. Even almost become ancient artifacts only. However, UNESCO initiated to cooperate with the Egyptian government, rebuilding the library with the history of the largest in history. And this development began in the 1990s. This development did not spend less than U.S. $ 220 million. U.S. 120 million on the responsibility of the government of Egypt and the rest on the responsibility of international assistance from other countries. Finally after almost abandoned during the 20th Century, Iskandriah Library (Bibliotheca Alexandrina) magnificent and unique standing. A round-roofed main building tilted, sunk into the ground. In parallel to the front of the roof, made pond to neutralize the temperature of the literature, consists of five floors in the ground, this library can contain about eight million books. But the current 250 000 new books and will continue to grow each tahun.Selain It also provides various facilities, such as 500 units of computers in Arabic and English to facilitate the visitors search our catalog of books, reading room with a capacity of 1,700 people, conference rooms, library space Braille Taha Special Husein blind, children’s library, a museum of ancient manuscripts, five research institutes, and research rooms which can be used free of charge.
And that is also interesting, is the middle floor of the library and there is Design Gallery can be viewed from all sides. On the wooden floor wide enough that displayed various ancient prototype of printing and various frescoes. This library is always full of visitors, but not many universities in Alexandria as in Cairo. This shows the high interest in reading Egyptian society and the library that had been destroyed Julius Caesar was now become a tourist attraction as one of the Giza Pyramids, Mummification, Karnax Temple, Tombs of the Pharaohs in Luxor or Cairo Museum which stores the heaps of gold Tutankhamun.
